Hello,

What would be the co-ordinates of highlighted points,
Professor kind of said few things about these points but could not understand.

Thank you

Hi Vinay,

Thank you,
My question might have been misleading apologies for that ,
My intent was to ask , how do these co-ordinates get one values from Point B & A
from what i could hear in videos it  was (8,y) & (x,2)
(8,y) is opposite point to P and (x,2) is opposite point to A
8 is taken from Point B and 2 from point B, x&y are from point P .
bit confused how they are chosen , i am sure there is an  explanations, but i could not grab it ..

Regards
Ragh

Dear learner,
From the graph we know that A(2,2), B(8,8), P(x, y), Q(x, 2) and R(8, y), we get to see that A and Q have the same height from x-axis i.e; (2 units from the x-axis) and P and Q are equally distanced from the y-axis i.e; (x units as per sir's explanation) and therefore Q(x,2). Similarly P and R are at same height from x-axis i.e; (y units from the x-axis) and B and R are at same distance from the y-axis i.e; (8 units in sir's explanation) therefore R(8, y).
Kindly label them on the graph and then understand the above explanation it will be easier. If you still didn't get it. Kindly attend any of the live session for explanation.
Thanks and regards
