Hi
Distance of point from origin is (x^2 + y^2)^1/2
So substituting x and y here we get [1+(TanTheta)^2]^1/2 and in trigonometry we have a relation that 1+(tantheta)^2 =(sectheta)^2 So we get distance as |sectheta|
