If f:R→R is defined by f(x)=√14−(3x+35−5x4), then the domain of the function f is
(−∞,−3](−∞,−3]
[3,∞)[3,∞)
(−∞,3](−∞,3]
[−3,∞)

To resolve this i checked by putting in the value -3 & +3. Is there any other easy way to
do this?

This is solved using inequalities.

Essentially, the term square-root for negative numbers isn't defined.  So, the term  3x+(35−5x)/4 <= 0

when you simplify this, you'll get the answer...

Sorry, read the inequality as  3x+(35−5x)/4 <= 14
