"Sniper", "Short range".

These are enough keywords in the question which leads anyone to infer that the bullet can and will pass through one's body to hit another person. Therefore, a more logical answer would be (3) Only K & N are safe.

If however, the one who framed the question intended in such a way that a bullet will not pass through one body, then more sensible options would've been:

1) N is unsafe
2) M is unsafe
3) L is unsafe
4) K is unsafe
5) All are safe

I raised the same query to them on the e mail and they replied that you should post it here. Please clarify this doubt.

Yes I too understood that since this a sniper bullet it can pass through the body of one person and hit another person in the leg. I also thought if the bullet would change it's path after hitting the first person but then there was a statement that it is assumed that bullet takes a straight line path. So, question and options provided lead us to think that it can certainly pass through one's body and validated by the fact that it is sniper bullet and the assumption that bullet traverses straight line path. Can you please help to clarify this? Thank you!

Hi,
Lot of students has raised the ambiguity, including myself. I hope this would be considered.

I also had this ambiguity and marked the wrong answer.
Please consider this.
