Does the set of natural numbers for this course include 0? Q5 has its answer marked as excluding 0, while the professor stated that this set would include 0 for this course. Could someone clarify that?

yes I am also in same doubt..

My Suggestion to IIT authorities : Please use the Symbol No ( N zero ) everywhere in qualifier question papers to denote that it means natural numbers as 0,1,2,3....infinity  ( As explained by professors in Learning Videos ). SO that just because of differences in assumptions we wont loose the marks.

For Q 5 , it does not matter if you include or exclude zero in Natural Numbers. Because if you include 0, the result of  functions - both in Option 4 and 5  is  0. And if you exclude it, then Domain and range both start from 1.
