Nptel Local Chapter : IMPORTANT info for SPOCs to convey to learners - Learn to solve sample Assignment problems for NPTEL courses

Dear SPOCs,

Hope students are watching NPTEL videos, and submitting Assignments for the Jan 2022 certification courses.

This semester we are attempting something new to see if we can reach out to the learners better in courses.

Every week there will be a live interactive session where a Course team member will explain some sample problems, how they are solved - that will help learners solve the weekly assignments.

These new problem solving sessions are conducted by IIT PhD scholars. 

Previous Assignment questions are explained in detail and problems are solved LIVE during the session. 

Learners can join the GMeet, ask questions and get their doubts clarified instantly.

The sessions are designed to be very interactive, helpful and easy to understand.

As you will agree, learners who practice and complete Assignments do well in the final exam also.

So kindly share this with your students and faculty so that they can learn how to solve sample Assignments questions in a quick and efficient way. 

Attending such sessions will also help them understand the concepts better.

How are the sessions planned?

The Live interactive sessions are planned for Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon & Tues

Mon, Tues, Fri - 6pm to 8pm

Sat+Sun - 3pm to 8pm

Live sessions for each course will be of approx 1 hour duration

And it will be conducted during the same time each week.

This way, watching the sessions can be planned ahead of time.
