Jan-April 2018 Exam registration details and Pay via SPOC candidates details in SPOC login now!

Dear SPOCs,

Exam registration details and Pay via SPOC for the Jan-April 2018 is now available in the SPOC login!!

To access, exam registration details:

• Login to SPOC login (http://nptel.ac.in/LocalChapter)
  
• Under Downloads Click on Jan - April 2018 Data
  
• Exam Registration Details 
  

(Here the list is split as Paid and Unpaid list)

Bulk payment - Pay via SPOC

Only Local Chapters agreed for Bulk payment (in SPOC questionnaire) will have this feature.

Bulk payment procedure:

SPOC login (Local Chapter) ---> Bulk Payment --> Bulk Payment - DD/NEFT/ATM/RTGS 

Details regarding making payment via DD/NEFT is given here.

Bulk payment can be done as follows:

- candidates should fill the Jan- April exam form and upload photo, signature and SC/ST certificates by themselves

- For payment alone, they should click on 'Pay via SPOC'

- SPOCs to Approve/Reject the candidates within SPOC login

- If approved, SPOCs to collect exam fee from the candidates and make bulk payment to NPTEL on behalf of the candidates

IMPORTANT:

If the candidates registering for the April exam choose your College name in the exam form

and select 'Pay via SPOC' for the payment method, their details will be listed in your SPOC login.

As the SPOC, you have to Approve or Reject their request for the exam fee payment.

This has to be done regularly by the SPOCs.

SPOC Login --- > Bulk Payment ---> Pay via SPOC details ---> Jan-Apr 2018 Exam Bulk Payment Candidates Details - Pending for SPOC Approval

• If the candidates are approved, the exam fee has to be collected from the students by the SPOC and paid to NPTEL either by NEFT/DD.
• If rejected, the candidates will be informed via mail by NEFT and asked to make the payment directly.

Please note: This time as the exam registration is opened for any update, candidates may add/delete a course, these changes will also be reflected in the 

Approve/Reject Pay via SPOC list, thus the fee to be collected from the candidates who chose Pay via SPOC will vary on such changes.

Hence, if you have already approved a candidate, but again he/she registers for another course, his/her name will appear again in the Pay via SPOC pending list, mentioning the new course he/she had registered again, for which you have to approve them for payment.

To Enter the bulk payment details:

Bulk Payment --> DD/NEFT/ATM/RTGS  --> Click here to enter Bulk Payment - DD/NEFT/ATM/RTGS - details

Once the Bulk payment has been done, the bulk payment details (scanned image of the DD/NEFT transaction slip) should be entered here.
 

Filling this detail is mandatory as this help us us track your payments
and which in turn will expedite approval of your payment.

Once payment is approved, a fee receipt will be generated for both the candidates and the SPOC (one single receipt).

Last Date for SPOCs to Approve/Reject payment on behalf of candidates: March 5th,10 am, 2018

Last Date for payment to reach NPTEL office: March 8th, 2018
