Sep 2017 NPTEL exam - select exam cities cancelled; shifts merged

Dear SPOCs,

Please be informed that the following cities are cancelled from the final list of exam cities for September 24th, 2017 exam 

due to lack of sufficient exam registrations.

Exam city
Adisaptagram	Cancelled
Dimapur	Cancelled
Hamirpur	Cancelled
Shegaon	Cancelled
Narasaraopet	Cancelled
Ahmed Nagar	Cancelled
Warangal	Cancelled
Krishnagiri	Cancelled
Prodattur	Cancelled

*Note: Bhimavaram was earlier closed in the exam form due to available seats being filled

Solapur has also been closed now in the exam form as all available seats have been filled

There will be only morning shift in the following cities due to lack of sufficient exam registrations.

Exam city
Panaji	Morning shift only
Ratnagiri	Morning shift only
Satara	Morning shift only

We have intimated the same to the candidates and have given the following options.

1. Change of exam city/shift, as per their convenience

2. If the change is not suitable, they may opt to cancel the exam and get a refund for the same.
