As far as I remember,  in "The Bangle Sellers" audio, the reference was to corn. I am not able to check the same because I am not able to play the audio in the released question paper.

Question 12: The golden bangles are compared to the rich and ripe fields of maize.
Answers : TRUE / FALSE.

Corn is a generic word that refers to the most important/predominant/most common crop in any geographical area. If it is maize, people will refer maize as corn. For example, in England, corn refers to wheat, in Scotland, corn refers to oats.

In the mp3 audio, the reference was about corn, but in the question, the word "corn" is replaced with "maize". This like the following statement...

Statement: "This basket contains fruits."
Question: "This basket contains apples" - True / False

I selected "FALSE" as the answer and in the received answer key, "TRUE" is given as the answer to the question.

Can someone from the content team please confirm my understanding about the difference between corn and maize?
