Question 13 reads: 

The fire coloured bangles are denotative of the desires and passion in the heart of the bride.  

a) True

b) False

I am given to understand that denotation is the literal or dictionary meaning of a word. I feel that the fire coloured bangles are "connotative" of the desires and passion in the heart of the bride and not "denotative" and hence feel that the answer should be "FALSE" and not "TRUE" as mentioned in the Marking Scheme. 

 

Kindly look into my query and correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks a lot :)

You are right. The fire coloured bangles are connotative of the desires and passion in the heart of the bride. 

I also feel that the answer should be false.

I feel the same. But, I don't think they're gonna change the answer key anyway!

If they do, they should first give grace marks for the listening questions as many of them weren't able to attend those!
