Graded Assignment 1 - Question 7

HI Support Team,

In this question, I figured out that the answer was "The total number of Sentences with One Verb in it". But when I was rechecking my assignment before submission - I realised that in Step 1 - the data said - Arrange all cards in a single pile called Pile 1. It did not say whether the cards were arranged according to serial number in an ascending order. If it did say that then the answer you have given is correct else the answer should be "None of the above". 

Only if the words were arranged in the right serial order does the answer come out as Total Number of Sentences with One Verb. If the order is not maintained then the answer cannot be determined and the answer should be None of the Above.

Kindly clarify.

Hi Team,

Any update on this?

Would appreciate some clarity because there is a similar problem even in the week 2 assignment so if order is assumed to be ascending even without any explicit mention of the same then we need to change answers on the other assignment as well.

Whenever it comes to the "Paragraph Words" dataset, please assume that the pile is arranged serially, that is, in the ascending order of serial number. It is not arranged randomly.

Noted. But considering that this was ambiguous in Week 1’s assignment  - I think it would be fair to grant marks to people who listed the answer as None of the Above.
