please explain how to solve qno.3 and 4. i am unable to understand

Hi,

In Q3. you are asked to find the percentage of the high frequency words confirm the hypothesis that high frequency words are short.

So from the given table you need to find that how many words are of high frequency.

From the table, High frequency words = 20 + 60 = 80

Now we have find the words which are of high frequency but are short which is 60 (directly taken from table).

So the percentage of high frequency words which are are short =(Number of high frequency but are short)*100/(Numbers of high frequency words)%

Therefore, = (60*100)/80 = 75%

So ans is (a)
