Question Numbers 2-5 are seriously complicated. Could not understand much even after going through all the explanations given on Discussion Forum.

After reading replies of some experts who are explaining these questions on discussion forum as if these questions are child's play, it seems to me that they are already well versed with this concept of True and False in Computational Thinking. May be they are from Computer Engineering background. It would put them in unfair advantage over other candidates.

Because if these candidates who are explaining Question Numbers 2-5 on Discussion Forum are not already experts in Computational Thinking then how is it possible that they are explaining such difficult question with ease even when this concept has not been explained in detail in lectures.

Another very very important point is that the total number of marks for Question Numbers 2-5 comes to 12 out of 25 i.e. almost 50%If such difficult questions were asked in the Qualifier with more than or equal to 50% weightage then a large number of candidates are bound to fail in the Qualifier.

So, is IITM looking to give admission only to Computer Engineering candidates who are already experts in Computational Thinking or to other candidates as well?

I would appreciate if Support Team clarifies on this important issue...

Correction in Line 7 & 8:

Instead of: If such difficult questions were asked in the Qualifier with more than or equal to 50% weightage then a large number of candidates are bound to fail in the Qualifier.

Read: If candidates are tested in the Qualifier with such difficult questions having more than or equal to 50% weightage then a large number of candidates are bound to fail.

Hi Pankaj,
I am a student from civil engineering background ,who doesn't know anything about coding. So if I am able to answer few questions I believe everyone can answer more than me. Don't think negative even in exam I scored just 25 marks because of time limit. But after exam I am able to answer all the questions and explain to others . If you put extra efforts on particular with this subject you will be a Master in the next two months. I suggest you not to think about other people background and Age . One day you might be boss to them.  The day will come when you will be explaining all the questions to others with the best logic, just be with patience and wait for that day. I believe that everyone here is great and will be great.  Don't get depressed be positive. keep up hard work . Be Confident.

Happy Learning

Best Wishes

Thank You for your inspiration, Dharma Teja !  Putting extra efforts would certainly make complicated questions look simple.  But, in exam, it would be all about timing. Question Numbers 2-5 are quite complicated. There were no videos on such type of questions and no practice questions. They asked it directly in the mock test. What would happen if something similar happens in qualifier? Candidates are expecting questions on the concepts taught in Weeks 1-4 and similar to those that they have gone through in Assignments. Asking questions with which candidates are not well versed either through lecture videos or assignments is not fair.
