Kindly correct me if I'm wrong.
If we are considering only the verbs which end with a full-stop and coming to the conclusion that the count A represents the "TOTAL number of sentences with only verb in it" then wouldn't we be missing sentences like "It was Monday morning." ?
"It was Monday morning." is the first sentence in the paragraph and it too has only one verb "was" which doesn't end with a full stop and thus wouldn't be counted.
