'2-STEP VERIFICATION' of Google Account to be OFF: "Matter of Caution":
Since we are using Google account, may fall in trouble when we google account secured with 2-STEP VERIFICATION ON.

When we try to access our google account from a third party computer (exam center computer), this system will trigger verification process and we may need to click a "YES" button in Google verifiaction screen in our mobile to log in.

Since we are not allowed to take our mobile, we may not able to log in to our google id and may not able to attend the exam

I tested this scenario found this issue.

Hence everyone should SWTICH OFF 2-STEP VERIFICATION for your google account before appearing for the exam.

I have created a doc to guide for candidates who needs help to swith off the 2-Step Verficiation in google (PFA)

With regards,

We don't have to worry about that , it would be different in the qualifiers.

@arka.d, are you from the IIT-M team?  It helps, if you send the mail from your official address, it's easier to identify...

Guys....we do not need to worry about the login of google account at the TCS test center...It will be just like how we write our JEE exams...

Hi Arka,

Is our Mock test format is that of JEE?
If yes, it's a challenge.

If not, how can you assure that actual test won't be of some other formats, unless IITM authorities clarify it?

Arka, I noticed you're giving answers to many posts in this forum with such conviction, that it looks so authentic.  Please don't go by your assumption, you might end up misleading many people...
