Dear Learners,

Please note the following points regarding how the qualifier exam portal/software works.
  1. The submit button will be enabled only 2hours after the exam starts.
  2. The student must press the submit button after all questions have been answered. If the submit button is not pressed, the answers will NOT be registered in the database.
  3. Unlike the graded assignments, in the TCS portal for the qualifier, only one submission is permitted. Multiple submissions are NOT allowed.
  4. Once the submit button is pressed, it will ask for confirmation twice and if you confirm both times, your answers will be submitted and no more editing can be done.
  5. There is only one submit button for the entire exam of 4 subjects, that is, there is no separate button for each subject.
  6. The answers are auto-saved. That is, when the student chooses one answer and moves to the next one, the answer is saved. It does NOT mean it is submitted.
  7. The saved answers can be edited again. The questions can be accessed back and forth and across the subjects. That is, before submission, the student can go back to any question of any subject and answer it (again) till the submit button is pressed after which this cannot be done.
Thanks,
IITM online degree team.

Dear Sir/Dear Madame,

This is to draw your kind notice..

One-time submission of answer sheet can create problem, as all participants will submit at end of the examination altogether.

It can cause technical issues and can prevent to submit answers.

Kindly look into it and do the needful, please.

Thanks & Regards

Actually that happens on iitm online degree portal but exam partner is tcs ion which can handle this easily, because number of student in jee and neet exam are more than our total number and tcs ion handles that, so that will not be porblem of technical issues.
Hope for best.

Technology growed this much, still manual and no full proof system. I
think for JEE etc... are auto save the answers. Where are as here
manual and
more chances to lead errors and issues.. Who guarantees to everyone
that their exams will be accepted without issues. And people can
utilise their time properly...

I think there is nothing much to worry about. The problem is that most of the students are worried because they compare it with the current learning portal. Which is of-course a new portal created for this course and there are some technical shortcomings.

If we stay in the assignment portal like 20 minutes without submitting in between, the session will be expired and all the unsaved answers will be lost. somehow they didn't fix that till the end.

But there is no need to compare that with the tried and tested online entrance exam portals, which has been in use way before. Here no of students is very less like in under 30,000. That too is attending in two different schedules. These system/portal are handling lakhs of student for JEE and NEET.

Answers are auto-saved when you select them. The exam is marked as submitted only when you click the submit button in the end. Then the answers are locked and you won't be able to update any. So it's like updating a flag when we click submit button. that's a small load comparing the number of students.
