Since Learning Extension Trajectories provide learning resources to diversity of learners. These resources can be in the form of videos, documents, web links , documents or research papers.
        I personally  find videos more useful as they use variety of techniques like talking head, or PIP or animations to keep the learner engaged, while  not loosing the sight of the learning objectives for learner. The learner can also rewind and forward the videos as many times as he or she wants till he understands the content. Some videos also have video transcripts available in the description box , which are of major help. The learner can use these transcripts to understand the content more thoroughly.

Dear Learners,
             Among the various categories of LXTs I have experienced in the last couple of weeks (Week 1 and Week 2) of this LCM course, My favourite is LXT 2.3 which comprise 3 research papers.Since, I derive habitual pleasure of reading research papers and gain insight out of it, the research papers as LXTs exites me more than other routine contents like videos and text files.  While this preference would be different for many others, i would like to share the following advantages of research papers as LXTs
1. The research papers provide us the valuable inputs on the initial reference positions on the subject matter that we are dealing with.In the case of our present LCM course, the LXT2.3 has shown us Research Hypotheses, the technology tools and its implemetation metrics from differnt corners of the world which will show us the light on our local deployments.
2. Also, these research papers give us some more ideas to probe further on research dimensions once we suceed in implementing MOOC course in our settings.
3. The research papers gives us new insights on the methodological approaches while dealing with the subject matter of research ( In this case MOOC)
4. Also, the knowledge on these research outcomes can make us even consultants rather than being the content creators in MOOC settings.

Thank You

Regards

Dr.P.Rajmohan

Greetings everyone
Firstly I believe that the LxTs should address not only learners with different motivations, age groups, and experiences with the content, but also different learning styles from visual, auditory, read and write, and kinesthetic ones. Keeping this in mind, one LxT I really liked in this course are LxT 3.1 and LxT 3.3 since these had resources in the forms of documents- research papers and presentations, and also videos. Apart from this these LxTs had documents designed to highlight important parts of the resource and also to summarise its content, which also provided clarity to the learner and helps them revise and reflect.
Thank you and Regards
Abhishek

Hello,

According to me  Learning Extension Trajectories provide a better way to access and share learning resources to different learners. The diversity of resources like blog, discussion forum, research paper, web links, related documents etc. found very useful.

One can easily browse their material/content of their choice and can understand the same thing with different perspectives.  In my opinion the research blog and research paper can be the best way to explore as it provide current perspective of research in a particular area and same time provide the vision for its future goal.

Dear Learners,
                i have gone through the LXT 3.2 which is basically a web link comprising the details of various Technology tools available for formative assessements for adoption into our class room settings and it was amaizing. Some of the technology tools like Mentimeter,Edupuzzle,Plickers and Coggle are fantastic tools that can enrich the teaching and learning experience.Personally I am planning to adopt Mentimeter into my class room shortly. Tools like Coggle will be of great value to research scholars. Edupuzzle can assist us to insert reflection spot in our course videos. This LXT 3.2 is actually a treasure which every faculty should explore and deploy it wherever possible

ThanK You,

Regards

Respected friends,
In my opinion I find the resource LXT 3.3 ( about a 35 minutes video titled "Revised Bloom's taxonomy for designing the assessment "  by Dr. Jayakrishnan M )
as extremely useful. Because  the ultimate aim of any teacher is to achieve the learning outcomes.
The resource shared here guides us completely in every aspect.That is it makes us to understand the Revised digital Bloom's taxonomy as well as the digital tools to achieve those parameters.
Hence I find the resource LXT 3.3 as  very useful one for the reasons mentioned below :
In the video firstly we get the idea about Revised Bloom's digital taxonomy.

That is Remembering -> Understanding-> Applying -> Analyzing -> Evaluating -> Creating.

In case of Remembering we have the following activities and digital tools to perform those activities :
Bullet pointing -> Powerpoint,Mindmap, etc
Highlighting -> Word processor, PDF document,
Bookmarking -> Diligo,Delicious, etc,
Searching -> Google,Bing, etc,
Note-taking -> Evernote, Google keep, etc.

In case of Understanding we have the following activities and digital tools to perform those activities :
Advanced searches -> Google,
Blogging -> Blogger, Wordpress, etc,
Commenting -> Twitter,MS-Word , etc.,
Annotating -> Adobe acrobat reader,Zotero , etc,
Subscribing -> RSS feeds, News aggregators, etc.,

In case of applying we have the following activities & digital tools to perform those activities :
Running,Loading,operating -> Installing programs, Operating systems,
Playing -> Visualizations, Simulations,etc,
Hacking -> Armitage,Wifite, etc
Uploading and sharing -> Google drives,Dropbox, etc.,
Editing -> MS-Word, Pixlr,Libre office writer, etc.,

In case of analyzing we have the following activities and digital tools to perform those activities :
Mashing -> Google maps,Google Earth, etc.,
Surveying -> Google forms, Survey monkey,etc.,
Linking -> MYSQL,Excel, etc.,
Tagging -> evernotes,Tabbles., etc.

In case of Evaluating we have the following activities and digital tools to perform those activities :
Commenting and posting ->Blogspot,Facebook,etc.,
Reviewing ->MS-Word,Review board, etc.,
Moderating -> Moodle forum,
Networking -> Linked in,Facebook, etc.,
Refactoring -> Eclipse, Sharpdevelop, etc.,
Testing -> Wireshark,Snort, etc.,

In case of  creating we have the following activities and digital tools to perform those activities :
Programming -> Scratch,Alice., etc,
Filming and animating -> Moviemaker,animoto, etc.,
Blogging and Wikis -> Blogger,Moodle wikis,etc.,
Publishing -> Word,OO Writer , etc.,
Videocast , Podcast -> Voicethread,Skype, etc.,
Video cast,Podcast ->Voicethread,Skype, etc.,
Modeling -> Sketchup,Blender,etc.,

Dear friends, even though the answer is lengthy, I feel that the resource LXT 3.3 as useful.

Hello all
Found the list of tools very interesting, but am yet to explore most of them. I have used padlet, where students where asked to browse on a particular topic and reflect on the same by citing the site they had referred, have used quizziz and kahoot to prepare quiz games and played the same during class. The students found it interesting and enjoyable. Have used mentimeter to get the students understanding on a particular term.
I feel there is still a lot to learn and am wondering how to go about using the other tools especially to enunciate the higher order thinking skills. And would also like to know how to make use of the same in a google classroom setting as most of these tools expect a class to be created, which might not be possible.

Hello,
I found LxT 3.2 & 3.3 very encompassing and resourceful. As already detailed by Mr. Ragu Pala, LxT 3.3 was most engaging, probably the result of talking head type presentation, as well as very precise aggregation of all the facts needed in today’s learning. Another fact was quoting of various resources available for each step of Bloom’s modified taxonomy, which will be very helpful to implement these in our routine teaching. I am planning to add wevideo, plickers & micro poll for my lectures.
Kudos to the entire team of this MOOC, for preparation of very engrossing and resourceful presentation.

Hello Learners,
 I explore every tool mentioned in  '75 digital tools and apps teachers can use to support formative assessment in the classroom'.
Although I find some of this tool/software is premium and some are free to use. In my personal opinion  following are the well suited with my classroom -
1. Quizizz
2. Quizlet
3. X-mind
4. Edpuzzle

In mail loop I read the responses of all and I do agree with naidiniraje.....@gmail.com .
Thanks to instructors for proving us this list

Hello,
Happy to Note that You have explored all the 75 tools. It would be nice if you can suggest a tool (free version) which I can use for model building workshops normally i conduct for research scolars in social sciences. Following are the requierments
1. I make the participants (Around 45) to brainstrom and find a measurable variable for scale development.
2. Then i will conver that in to 5 point scale based questionnaire
3.Make the participants to respond the survey
4.Then Manually I load the responses in SPSS and demonbstrate then the power of model building tools like Regression.
All these steps I do it mannualy and it consumes considerable time during workshop.
Now After going through some of the tools, I am planning to
1. Use Padlet for Brainstroming and get  responses for finding measurement variables
2. Use Survey monkey for building the questionnaire and make participants to respond through their mobile
3. Planning to download the responses in Spread Sheet.( Unfortunately many of the free versions do not support this and I am not sure about survey monkey)
4.After Downloading spread sheet its easy to copy the data in SPSS and show the Analyisis

Please provide me the tool that allows free download of Spread Sheet of the survey responses.Also Share me any other options among those i listed that can make my workshop robust.
Thanks in Advance
Regards

Good morning to
The 75 digital tools and apps are really helping to support formative assessment in the classroom.
Although   I used  Google forms to create documents that students can access in real-time, Creating quizzes really helped us during this pandemic situation.
I feel google forms are easy to create quizzes and track the student's responses. apart from Google forms, the following tools look interesting and I want to explore them with courses.
1. Quizizz
2. Edpuzzle

Hello everyone,
Of all the LxTs provided in the course, I found the following to be resourceful.
1) LxT 3.2  Formative assessment Sheet by Brandi Argentar in the Padlet created by Steve Wick, as it gives a comparative spreadsheet listing important features of 14 digital tools that made it easy for me to choose suitable tools for specific purposes of teaching/evaluation. Usually, I spend time navigating the different features of each tool and it is cumbersome. This LxT has made my job easier.
2) LxT 3.3 video session of Dr.Jayakrishnan M. where he explains the guidelines for applying the digital tools in the TLE process and how to match the digital tools to the different levels of Bloom’s taxonomy. I'll explore them in my future classes.
I've always had difficulty in designing digital assessments and these LxTs have given me proper directions to implement the same.

Hello. Learning Extension Trajectories are very useful for the learners as it provides extra information related to the subject in variety of formats. Out of many LxTs, I like video, Web links and Re search papers most useful. As an academician in a science college, teaching UG and PG students, video and animations are of great help to explain certain process or function of some cell part or body organ. video can also make the working principal more clear and easily understood. Web links are of great help to assimilate information about the subject, both current and archival. Links to some open access library line N-List, NAD, Libraries of Universities, etc. are very useful for higher studies and research. Research papers help in getting information about the current research thrust areas and innovations. This help in upgrading curriculum accordingly and designing the  experiments for the skill enhancement.

Dear all,

I found the  LxT 3.3: Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy for desiging assessments very useful. It was interesting to reflect on how Bloom's Taxonomy has evolved and been adapted as learning circumstances and technology changes over time. The variety of digital tools that are available and mapped based on the cognitive indicators are very useful. It aids the learner and facilitator to create learning pathways that are most likely to achieve the desired learning outcomes. There is also the scope of measuring it and evaluating the effectiveness. I liked how the structural framework of Digital Bloom Taxonomy aids in Learner centricity and enhances collaborative learning.

I also noticed that there is not much mention about 'affective learning' or the affective domain/ indicators (emotional, attitudinal...). Blooms Taxonomy seems to be primarily focused on the cognitive domain. There might be scope to integrate or highlight affective domain as well. As digital technology and tools are increasingly accessible, affordable and utilize much of our time and attention; it would be interesting to know how these  influence emotional, attitudinal aspects of learners and learning.

Sharing an article on Revised Bloom Taxonomy and associated rubrics which you might useful. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/228381038_Bloom%27s_Digital_Taxonomy

Hi all.

LxTs are mechanisms to address the diversity of learners in a MOOC and their learning needs.  LxTs consist of multiple types of resources followed by an Assimilation Quiz that incentivizes learners to access these resources. Resources can include additional readings, videos, links and so on, with specific identified goals such as ensuring prerequisites, advancing the depth of understanding of the learner’s existing knowledge, or supporting learner’s language needs.

The LxT 3.1 based on formative assessment strategies found to be very useful to create assessment questions at different levels.

Thankyou..
