In mathematics, one need to discuss method/solution of example. In this context which does picture in picture effective? As mathematician needs more line in one slide and more words in one line as requirement of solution. Please give your suggestion on it..

You could use annotation tools to compute solution n use mark ups to explain steps. I am not too sure of exact free tools for this. Anyone else here who could help?
