Questions of Maths and statistics were very difficult!

Yes the toughness of questions of Maths were much higher than graded assignments and mocks. If they would have informed the correct type of questions then we would have practiced questions from different materials.

Qualifier content of maths was not sufficient to give the exam properly.

If they had informed that there is no need to waste time in viewing "English" contents as only 3-4 questions will be asked from the 4 week content and rest will be general questions  i would have focused more on statistics and Maths. Mathematics questions were of CAT & other competitive exam  standards and some didn't even looked like they were from our syllabus, arguably IIT guys they can prove some distant link to our syllabus but basically there was no time to think that much, time which was detrimental factor for me.

Basically in context of "Mathematics" , IIT's Videos, Content support, Assignments, Mocks, AQ's were no match to the Qualifier Exam Questions, Relying solely on IIT Content created fake comfort zone bubble around which burst on qualifier day,  if i don't qualify i will have to look completely on different sources out side to prepare for Math, Rest subjects went excellent,  I am someone who had left math around 10-12 years ago, i am also considerably weak in math and i think around 1 month was not enough to get to this level of questions even when i sidelined my routine life to study for this which initially i though would be a side kick. 

biggest disadvantage of for me in context of math was that i never gave or studied for GATE, CAT or any competitive exams in my life, i run by IT business and i think have to work a great on speed of solving math questions

Thats a great self assessment you've put forward Gaurav. Not blaming the whole thing blatantly on the facaulties was a very nice gesture. I really hope they consider your difficulties and help you out with them.
