Wilson’s Warbler taking bath in grass

Two days in a row I have watched a male Wilson’s Warbler taking a bath in the wet grass near our bird bath.  Water splashes on the grass and the grass is about 6 inches tall.  I thought that it had maybe been in the bird bath first but I was watching other birds in the bird bath both days and it indeed only flew into the grass to take a bath.  Has anyone else seen birds taking a bath”wet” bath in the grass?   I have seen dust baths before but not this.
