Eurasian Green-winged Teal

Quack!

There has been a Eurasian Green-winged Teal hanging out at the south end of the dike-trail south of Bayview State Park. The duck can usually be seen within the first 500 feet from the south entrance, just before the trail curves to the right. He has been there practically all winter. I think low tide is the best time to see him, as he likes to grovel in the mud.
