Hummers are amazingly belligerent and interactions I see are usually brief, fast and short.

2 days ago we saw two keeping about 2’ apart at our feeder occasionally they would settle on opposite sides to sup then they would circle around the feeder and perhaps perch on the support not nearer than about 2” then off again and around. After seeing this for over 5 mins we had other things to do……

We saw purple on one chin but there was no sun to show colours. 2 Immatures? Two ladies? Siblings?
