Under the leadership of Jeff Fleischer the Winter Raptor Surveys begin the 22 year with 633 active routes covering several states. The Survey period officially covers 3 months, December, January and February, but can be expanded to November and March for route leaders who want to do more.
The route that is open in Whatcom County is Lynden South, and covers areas south of the Nooksack River and West of guide meridian.
