I made this 3-4 years ago and it hasn't failed once. It works great with this style feeder. There are two different sizes of this style feeder and there are two different sizes of styrofoam boxes you should be able to get from pharmacies. They throw them out. Plug two incandescent nightlights into a freeze stat and turn them on and that's all that's needed. They'll automatically turn off and on at the right temperatures. There are different temperature sensing freeze stats so ask someone at Hardware Sales or wherever you get it for the right one. If you want more detailed information I'd be happy to answer questions.
