Flock of American White Pelicans

A flock of about 30 American White Pelicans flew north over my house this morning.   I live about a mile north of Lake Padden.   They were just leisurely circling as they flew by.   It was a total surprise.

Awesome! White pelican sightings seem to be becoming more and more common in northwestern Washington.  It is a treat to have them around!
