Take a look at these guys. I tooks these images a few hours ago in Edgemoor.

Dark-eye Junco in the Oregon form and Slate-colored form? Other images I found appeared to be made up of different shades of grey. Is this guy possibly a hybrid Oregon / Slate? And from what I can find, the slate-colored form is pretty rare in Washington but common in parts of BC and to the east coast.

I think they are all the “Oregon” type. The one with the Black head is an adult male, The birds with the lightest heads are immatures. Adult females are very trim but have dark gray heads instead of black.
