For several days there has been at least one Oyster Catcher feeding on the muscles at the boat launch by the Community Boat Center. I’ve usually seen them when the tide is high.

I'm adding a picture taken at Semiahmoo yesterday on a log coming off the abandoned dock, there were two of them for a while. Similar to your picture Andrea.
