Saw some nice raptor movement in a 30 minute walk on Alabama Hill.  Surface winds are west, which blows are up Alabama Hill, and up in the clouds air appears to be from moving from the southwest, and the sun is out - all leads to good lift for migrating raptors.  I’ve never seen really big movements in Bellingham, but still entertaining:

5 bald eagles
3 turkey vultures
2 red-tail hawks
1 harrier
1 Cooper’s/sharp shinned
1 peregrine falcon (powered flight north low over the railroad trail and then caught uplift and soared upwards a long ways before tailing off to the north again).

Best,

John
