- Trash Tips with Toni

The Town of North Andover’s Trash Contractor, Republic, can not recover any construction waste.

This consists of, but is not limited to: siding, wood boards, insulation, toilets, pipes, old flooring, cement, and bricks. This is a MassDep Regulation because many of these items are dangerous to the environment. If Republic suspects demolition is in your trash bags or barrels, they will be left behind. Is your home or business in the holiday spirit? Sign up to have it listed on the interactive 2025 North Andover Holiday Lights Map.

Fill out the form here to have your address listed. A link to the map will be sent out on Monday, December 8th and will be updated daily to include new submissions. **Weekly food drives will take place on Saturdays from 9am-11am at the North Andover Senior Center. Please contact Janice Phillips at

jphi...@northandoverma.gov to sponsor a week.

Take and Leave Bins - Leave what you can, take what you need. There are 4 Take and Leave Food Bin locations in town, none of which require registration or interaction with staff. The Police Department is open 24hrs, Senior Center has a tote outside on the bench by the front door, Town Hall has shelves to the left in the front lobby, and Historical Society by the common has a tote outside the front door.

- Town Buildings Holiday Hours – November 26-28, 2025

Town Buildings and Non-Essential Town Offices, including Stevens Memorial Library, will be closing at Noon on Wednesday, November 26 and will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28.

Stevens Memorial Library will be open 10am – 5pm on Saturday, November 29 and 1pm – 5pm on Sunday, November 30.

There will be no leaf pick up for the week of November 24, 2025
There will be no trash and recycling collection on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.

- North Andover Police Department Cram-A-Cruiser Food Drive

Help the North Andover Police Department Cram their Cruisers with non-perishable food items and personal care items to benefit the Merrimack Valley YMCA Food Program.

Members of the North Andover Police Department will be at North Andover Market Basket, 350 Winthrop Ave, on Saturdays, December 6, 13, and 20th from 9:00am - Noon to collect donations.

- North Andover Fire Department Toy Drive

This season, let's come together to spread joy and hope to the children in our community! The NAFD Toy Drive is collecting new, unwrapped toys for kids of all ages, because every child deserves to feel the magic of the holidays.
