Thank you for being a member of the North Andover News. Here's what's coming up this month at our center!
From the Director……
As families gather during this holiday season the risk of spreading the Coronavirus increases. We want North Andover residents and staff to enjoy their families and therefore, in an effort to stop the spread of COVID 19, the Town Manager and myself have agreed to close the senior center to programs December 27 - January 7. Please think of this as just a mini quarantine period which will protect us all. For your added protection, staff will be required to test prior to coming back to work on January 10. The building will be open should you need anything. Myself or Cahla will be on site to ensure Meals on Wheels goes out and essential van transportation with Jose will be provided. Van services will be limited to one person at a time during this two week period. We will resume regular programming January 10. Unfortunately this means the December 30 Noon Year’s Eve celebration will be canceled. We are very disappointed to cancel this popular event but the health of our residents and staff is our top concern. The January 24th Lunar New Year program will also be canceled and all meals in the building will once again be on hold until the number of positive cases begins to go down significantly. If you have prepaid for the Lunar New Year please stop by reception for your refund. While this may feel like a step backwards we remember last year at this time senior centers were closed. We are making progress and one day this will be just a memory! We wish you all many happy holiday moments.
Our Warmest Regards,
Kathy, Cahla, Lya, Jose, Paula, Nancy, Chris, Gloria and Cindy
