Dear all,

The National Archives have produced a program called DROID (Digital Record Object Identification). This allows you to make an inventory of all the digital items you have in your collection. It tells you how old the files are, what versions you have, how big they are, when they were last changed and whether you have any duplicate files. DROID can help you manage risk by identifying what files might need replacing, and also manage the space you have available by getting rid of duplicates.

You can download DROID below - it works on PCs and Macs. The site also has instructions on how to use it.
