The Community Archives Toolkit

Hi all,

 

We’re very pleased to announce that our last batch of online resources has gone up on the Norfolk Record Office website!

 

The Community archives toolkit can be found from the home page of the NRO site under the ‘More’ menu. It contains an ‘About the toolkit’ page outlining the contents of the guides, and joining the existing guides on Collections management and Preservation four additional guides have now been added:

• Cataloguing
• Digitisation
• Interpretive planning
• Oral history

 

The toolkit includes links to further advice and resources, and templates of forms and tables that you will be able to download, including a catalogue template.

We hope these practical guides will prove useful as a handy reference. We are very interested in your feedback, so please let us know what you think about the toolkit by filling out the short surveys which can be found within each guide to the right-hand side.
