Digital skills: Getting your collections online - Wednesday 23rd June 10:00-11:00, online webinar

How can you provide access to your heritage collection online? Do you need a digital catalogue? What are the software options – from free to funded?

This workshop will give an overview of the process, discuss common misconceptions, share tips from experienced groups, and offer a golden rule.

Delivered by Jack Latimer, Jack has helped over 150 groups set up online catalogues and websites for 20 years through his company CommunitySites. He is a committee member of the Community Archives and Heritage Group (CAHG) and led the expert team that wrote the Community Archive Cataloguing Guidelines.

This is a rerun offered to us of the session held on the 21st May, previously advertised on the CAHG website and Norfolk Archives Network Forum. The Community Archives project team (Laura and Robin) will be attending this one.

Please pass the details onto anyone in your group who would be interested. To book a place please respond to laura....@norfolk.gov.uk with the name and email address of the person to attend, and the community archive group they belong to. We will then email the joining details closer to the event.
