Monday Morning C ride

We saw a big snapping Turtle on the Easthampton bike path on our return ride!

This morning's ride was almost cancelled due to wet roads, but we decided to go for it, and it was absolutely worth it- a really nice ride. There were 4 of us, Dave G, Tim W, Sarah N and Myself. We road the 'Southampton from Keyes street' route. We kept a steady, civilized, pace all the way to Westfield, where we  refueled at Stop and Shop .

The ride was ~40 miles, 1700 feet of climbing, at a pace of 13.5 mph.

Dave added ~30 + miles, having started from his home in Belchertown-- phew!

Tim rode from his home in Easthampton, so peeled off there. , 

7 miles into the return ride, I realized, I'd left my riding glasses on a wall by the stop and shop.   I drove back after the ride and they were still there!!
