SM C ride 9.4.21, 8AM start

For this weekend's Saturday morning C group ride starting at 8AM at Pulaski Park we will head south into Southampton and Westfield after an initial climb into Westhampton where we'll turn by Pine Island Lake. The route will cover just about 50 miles and have a little under 3,000' of climbing. The hardest part of the route is in the first 10 miles. Get past that point and enjoy the remainder. Once past Pine Island Lake there will be a series of descents and lesser climbs as we approach the Outlook Farm which should make for a good regrouping point at mile 12. From there we'll travel down Cold Spring Road into Southampton, the Wyben section of Westfield and along the Westfield River to where we'll begin our return at about mile 29 near a refueling stop. In the last 20-ish miles we'll travel back up through Westfield, Southampton, and Easthampton and cross over Rt. 141 at the base of Mt. Tom and then along by Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary before getting on the bike path for the final stretch to home. 

While the sky looks to be clear to partly cloudy, temperatures at 8am will be in the mid to upper 50's and should reach the low 70's by the time we return, hopefully before noon, so dress accordingly
