Sunday to be more temperate, with a shady ride on dirt roads

The heat this week has been brutal, but I'm hearing that Sunday should be more like normal for this time of year.

For those who are around this holiday weekend, we are doing a dirt road ride starting at Gateway School in Huntington at 9AM and traveling north for samosas and mango lassi in Windsor. There is a shorter version that goes through Worthington Corners, where there is a store. I rode up through the gorge last week and found the lower part seriously overgrown with knotweed, so I mapped out a parallel route on dirt roads that does not involve bushwhacking.

The remote starts allow us to get to lovely dirt roads, without riding miles of pavement out of noho. I'm trying to start rides from different places that wil not be outrageous drives from noho
