NoHa to Leveritt Road Ride, 40 miles with 1,500 feet of climbing.  Meet at Pulaski Park in Northampton at 10 am. 

An easy spring pace road ride relatively flat, with one long climb to Leverett, with a coffee stop at Cushman’s.  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54202966  Average speed around 15 mph, riding the flats in a rotating paceline at typically 16-18 mph.  Regrouping at the top of the climb at the New England Peace Pagoda.  No-drop, waiting at turns. Riders can cut the ride short or ride faster after alerting the ride leader.

Riders are expected to bring their own tools and supplies and be able to fix a flat and minor mechanical issues. Cell phones and RideID are recommended.

Only those who have signed the club waiver can join our rides (current members have already signed): form.jotform.com/213646475508058. After your second ride, we ask that you join the club.

Unfortunately, while I see the March 8 ride, I cannot find the March 15 one on either https://www.nohobikeclub.org/Calendar or the https://ridewithgps.com/clubs/15095-northampton-cycling-club/events calendars. In any case, I plan to be there.

So I was going to create an event for Christian ride for Sunday (as discussion title says Sunday) but his route says Saturday. So hopefully he can chime in on what day it falls on and then I can create a club event.

Sorry for the confusion, I thought I had followed the process to add a Saturday March 14^th ride but somehow it did not appear on the NCC calendar.   So I created it again and now it appears.

So yes, it is on for Saturday.  Not sure how to set it up to appear on the OURDOOR RIDES choice, but it is in ALL.

And a link from this page takes you to a document with details for posting to ridewithgps. Info for how to tag is at the end of this document

to summarize

once you've created your event on ridewithgps (on a computer)

go to the events page

click list view

I'm not sure why the list shows old rides.. we will have to ask ridewithgps about this. So you may have to type the name in the filter to find your event

select the events you want to tag

Below the list, you will see a text box that says event tags

Click in that box and you'll see tags you can select. Then press add tags
