I am upgrading my smart trainer situation to a Wahoo Kickr; I have a 1 year old Kickr Snap Wheel-on Trainer that will be available in early January. Full disclosure, I am not wonderfully happy with it, but lots of people are fine with this model and it is certainly inexpensive for a Smart Trainer. My issue: despite following the instructions perfectly it seems difficult to calibrate, and when I compare the Kickr power output to my G3 power meter the Kickr seems to drift. So I just use power from my G3 Power Tap. Currently the Kickr Snap retails for $500 and I would like $300 for mine. You can come check it out, and in fact try it, at my house in Shelburne Falls.
