NCC Mt Greylock Hillclimb Sept 12th: registration is open and a call for volunteers!

Registration for Northampton Cycling Club's annual Mount Greylock Hill Climb Time Trial is open! This great race is less than 3 months away, on Saturday, September 6th, in beautiful North Adams, MA. All the details are on the official Greylock website, or you can click right over to BikeReg to register if you haven’t already. NCC members receive a $10 discount on registration! Here’s what you get:

• The chance to challenge yourself on your bike in a friendly, safe, organized fashion, and to reap the rewards of all your training rides. Race hard if you choose or "casually" pedal up the mountain and enjoy the scenery!
• An awesome event t-shirt 
• Optional gear transport to the summit
• Great snacks and beverages at the summit
• Post-race party with catered lunch and beer (or other beverage) when you are done racing 
• Medals for (5 year) age group winners + top 3 overall winners.

At registration you will get to choose between 3 start time windows to accommodate whether you prefer to start earlier or later.

Greylock is one of the major events that Northampton Cycling Club hosts each year, so please consider donating your Saturday morning to this endeavor. It's a great spectator event, and there's no better way to spectate than to be a part of the action! Plus you will receive a post-race lunch provided by Freight Yard Pub, an event t-shirt and more. Volunteers are crucial for putting on this event and you will be very much appreciated!
