Pioneer Valley Physically Distant Stage Event

Hi folks, this was announced today -- a safe and chill way to do some race-like efforts - three short stages in the Valley, mtb, road and gravel - do it solo or as a team of 3. all timing based on strava segments. august 15-september 6.

no prizes, no required entry fee of any kind but suggested donation of $25 to Western Mass Community Mutual Aid highly encouraged

Hi all -- quick update on this and I likely won't message again -- it goes without saying that this strava segment event is in no way associated with NCC!

The original Earl's loop has been modified (by quite a bit). Updated info here:

Stage 1 - MTB - Classic Earl's Loop -- finish line is the Glenna Bell bridge 

• Distance: 5.08 miles
• Elevation Gain: 850 ft

• * special note -- Earl's is a relatively busy spot - please do your best to ride at less busy times (weekdays and early AM on weekends often best). If you're not familiar with Earl's, pre-riding the loop once or twice with the route on GPS will help you quite a bit. There are a number of tricky and confusing turns given how many trails there are at Earl's, and the place is unsigned. The Trailforks app is also very helpful here.
