September 3, 2019 Skinner Hillclimb Results

On the last hillclimb of the 2019 NCC Tuesday night series, we had a few challenges to overcome. For example, the potentially EEE infected mosquitoes at the start, the closed gate going up and down the hill, Scott giving it his last stamp of authority before moving south and changing his name to Scott Bob and racing on a cross bike because he had already packed his road bike, Gus spanking everyone else (and setting a PR by 1:05 in the process), JOK digging a bit deeper than usual to punish the rest of us, Madeline arriving uncharacteristically 2 minutes late and needing some composure time, Eric attending his first ever Tuesday night TT or HC, Melissa showing fantastic late season form after a late start, Grace hoping to stand in for what we thought was the missing Madeline and instead treated us to her now trademark war whoop at the start and Roger gracefully and with a fighting spirit continuing to be the old man of the group and still riding like he's hovering somewhere around the late 40's, early 50's tops. You all are awesome to keep coming out and turning yourselves inside out every Tuesday. Congrats!!
