Bike fitter?

Hey all,

Can anyone recommend a good bike fitter?  yeah I know it can be $$$.

Thanks - moved here last year and am looking forward to a real group road ride very soon!

Hi John, welcome to the area!

I finally took the plunge last year and had Niall of Pioneer Valley Frameworks do a bike fit for me. He was fantastic and the fit made a big difference to my ride quality. I think it was 150-200$ but he was very thorough and when I needed an adjustment because we went a little too aggressive at first, he had me come back into the shop for an adjustment, free of charge.

I recently had a fitting done by Jan at Benidorm Bikes in Canton, CT and she is great! It is unreal how much more comfortable I am now. I had a lot of fit issues and she spent about 3.5 hours with me, it was definitely worth the $.

I to had two bike fittings done by her over the years. She is full of information and is well versed in the sport. I believe she was an Olympionist/Pro/Master rider. That does not make her any more qualified, but it helped me feel more comfortable because she understood most cycling dynamics. She listened to my "goals" or purpose for the type of "riding/racing" I would be doing; she would then do the bike fit accordingly.
