So, I know that it’s just for fun, and you used your actual time which was longer than your Strava time, but my starve time was better than Patrick’s starve time, so I feel a little cheated.  I don’t get many opportunities to beat Patrick, LOL.  Also, it seems that he did his hill climb on MONDAY!, not Tuesday.  What is the deal with that?  It doesn’t affect me, but if he’s in contention for the Hill Climb Series Championship, it could be a problem.  Joe

Further proof that we cyclists are an insanely competitive bunch of misfits!

I made an exception to allow Patrick’s Monday time based on his compelling body of evidence and the fact that the weather both days was similar enough.  

Regarding the Strava discrepancies, the solution I guess is to either not use it at all or ONLY use it. Does everyone use it? Probably not so I’d hate to limit participation only to Strava users. I’m open to suggestions.

Also, if I had used my Strava time plus 3, I would have beaten Henry. How cool would that have been??

I know for sure that not everyone uses Strava.  Madeline and Frank definitely, there are probably others as well.  But I'm pretty confident that everyone who is doing these races is riding with either a bike computer or a watch.  I'd encourage everyone to use manual timing at the start and end points, just like we have always been doing.  Strava times should only be used as a backup if something has gone wrong.
