Hatfield Lions Ride (50 mile) AND a C paced group

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is interested in forming a C ride group for this coming Saturday's 56 mile Hatfield Lions Club ride. I'd like to ride at a moderate pace (I'm seriously not fast this year) and share the workload on the flats (realistically everyone knows I'll just stick like glue to someone's wheel).  I'm just coming back after a hard medical winter and it would be great to have a small group to ride with. I'm not looking to push the pace, I need to ride conservatively enough to finish. I'd like to leave on the early side so that I can get back around when the faster/later riders arrive, post ride is where the fun is at. If it's raining I'll be staying home.  I could do a Link My Ride (if there's interest) so that we can see whom will be joining.

Hi all,

I'm very interested to ride a 56 miles at the C pace this coming Saturday.

I'm not very fast, I did it last year, and I was by myself for the most of the ride. I would enjoy riding this with a small group for sure.

There is an hour start window. Lots of different abilities within the club. I'm interested in forming a moderate C group (flats 15-17mph with slower climbs to save legs) ride that rolls closer to 8.  Faster riders often leave later and make up the time without effort.
