Rear Derailleur Cables - Be Aware

I replace my rear derailleur cables at least annually, should do it every 3,000 miles.  My Campy Chorus cable had two frayed wires at 3,500 miles, I would generally get a little more on Shimano Ultegra.  It is a lot easier to replace them BEFORE they fray or break.
