Tuesday TT Weather Update

I'm keeping an eye on the weather for tonight's TT.  As of 3:15 PM there are some scattered storms in the western part of the state, coming this way.  Not looking too bad at the moment, but I will watch them to see whether they are intensifying.  I'll post a go/no-go on this thread at 4PM.

Between the heat and the thunderstorm threat, I am going to cancel. Apologies to anyone who had their heart set on battling heatstroke and dodging lightning bolts tonight.

We avoided the storms, but they did strengthen a lot right after they went past us, and it's still a million degrees out there, so I'm happy with this call.  See you all next week on the Westhampton Hillclimb (up Route 66 from Northampton to the Huntington town line).
