Dear NJCCPS Members,


After discussion among officers, we've decided to re-open a...@njccps.org. Post to a...@njccps.org will be closely monitored by an officer in charge of moderation. We reserve rights to take actions on inappropriate topics, and we will not tolerate spams or personal attacks.  Eric Wei will be the first moderating officer and he will send out reminder on group policy periodically.


Meanwhile, we've decided to put a few members in probation due to violation of the group policy For next 2 months, their posting privileges will be suspended, through they will still be able to receive messages from the group.


At the same time, we've opened a few special interest ( SIG ) discussion groups, and you need to sign on explicitly to receive emails from, or make posts to those group. All posts will be available on http://www.njccps.org, under Discussion section.We encourage members to sign on to those groups and post relevant messages there. This way, we can avoid the main group to be flooded.


Initial list of SIG groups are (Click on each link then click "Apply to Join group" to join). If you like to see more discussion groups please send suggestions to group...@njccps.org.



Freedom of speech is a right but shouting to others is not. We are confident that our members are all civilized and that's why we want to keep this communication channel as open as possible. Meanwhile we will make sure policies and rules will be enforced.

About Our Organization
New Jersey Chinese Computer Professionals Society (NJCCPS) was established in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the main purpose of it is to provide its members with up-to-date knowledge in the field of computer science and engineering by hosting seminars and discussion sessions on a periodic basis, and participating in some of the Special Interest Groups (SIGs), let its members to exchange ideas freely by establishing email circle, and make resources sharing possible by setting up its homepage. Currently it has about 1600 members, and all of them are working in different kind of computer areas in New Jersey and New York areas. 


新州华人电脑协会于1993年创办,至今会员逾千人。绝大多数的会员是来自中国大陆、台湾及香港的第一代移民。我们讲同样的语言,在很大的程度上追求著同样的理想,面对著同样的现状。在机会和挑战并存之际,聚在一起,共同探讨如何扬长避短,协同共进。新 州华人电脑协会是大纽约地区最活跃的团体之一。在新州和周围地区(纽约,宾州,康州)从事电脑的专业人士大家共享资讯,拥有一个最活跃的1600 多人的电子邮件网,已成为新州最有影响力的社团之一。人才济济,建立相互信任,共同发展与创业,我们相信每个会员都可以在协同共进中超越自己。这就是本协 会创会宗旨。
