Good evening, good evening,
Thanksgiving is over, the leftovers are dwindling, and somewhere between the tryptophan coma and the leftover pie, I realized something: the world could always use a little more play—and a lot more kindness.
That’s why I’m reaching out tonight with a cause close to my heart: Playworks. This incredible nonprofit brings safe, structured play into schools, giving kids the chance to build teamwork, confidence, and communication—skills we all wish we had mastered before adulthood. Because let’s be honest: if we had Playworks as kids, maybe the awkward team projects and office politics would have gone a little smoother.
My goal: $2,000 by January 16
My personal challenge: 100 burpees for 100 days. Today is Day 53, and yes… I’m already questioning my life choices.
Here’s the kicker: every donation made TODAY is matched, dollar for dollar. Twice the impact, no extra burpees required.
Even a small donation—$10, $25, $50—makes a real difference. It’s not just about games on a playground; it’s about creating spaces where kids feel capable, seen, and ready to take on the world. And if it keeps me surviving this burpee marathon, that’s a bonus.

Thank you for reading, for supporting, and for being part of a community that proves even the smallest acts of generosity can have a huge impact—for kids, and yes… for burpee-challenged adults like me.
With gratitude (and sore muscles),
