NYRC Q2 Board Meeting Minutes - April 23, 2025

Greetings NYRC community,
I am pleased to share the minutes and action items from the second meeting of the Board in 2025.
- We need Club volunteers to assist with picking up new containers for the Club to utilize at Pier 40. These containers MUST be picked up by May 23rd and a volunteer with a large vehicle/SUV/truck would be extremely appreciated.
- Bylaw proposals/amendments:
- Meeting Minutes Distribution - UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED BY THE BOARD ON APRIL 30TH
- Chairman and Vice Chair Terms - UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED BY THE BOARD ON APRIL 30TH
- Policy proposals:
- Attendance and Contribution Proposal - UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED BY THE BOARD ON APRIL 30TH
Previous, but still relevant, action items include the following:
The Club’s Centenary is approaching in 2029 and Ski Bailey is looking for volunteers across the Men’s, Womxn’s, and High School sides, as well as Alumni of all three, to join him in a long-term strategic project involving a documentary of the Club’s history. Please reach out to skib...@newyorkrugby.com with any interest!
We also need volunteers to assist Genevieve Cohen and Rick “Tofu” Damaso with an inventory of the Club’s gear and equipment. This will help streamline the setup and breakdown of events on Randalls and trainings at Pier 40, as well as identify Club needs for replacements or upgrades. Please respond to this email, if you have time to give to the Club.
