Hi,
Thanks to all for your support so far. I have now raised $5,914 towards my goal of $12,000 and my team has raised $62,730 towards our goal of $75,000. So, we can use some more help, please. We can raise funds until December 18 and our captain has promised to buy us all dinner if we raise $66,000, so I'd like to see him have to pay that out!
I cycled toward a world free of MS! Please help us reach our goal. We have raised over $794K since 2009! Since 2009, I have raised over $131K towards this great cause. I am humbled by your support.
I rode 30 miles for Bike MS on October 19, a ride that raises funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This organization has paved the way for every effective MS treatment available today — the Society is the best investment in reaching a cure for multiple sclerosis.
As always, I rode in honor of my friend Jodie van Ogtrop's mom, who is currently batting this disease, as well as in the memory of the moms of my friends Katie Brethel and Danny and Gabe Dorado.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a devastating, unpredictable disease and no one should face it alone. Every mile we pedal and every dollar we raise brings us closer to a world free of MS.
I went the distance with my training and commitment to end MS, and I hope I can count on your support for this incredible experience. I’ve set an ambitious goal because I know that with support from people like you, I can get there. Please join me in supporting this great cause.
My team is participating in BikeMS to support the National MS Society in their quest to put an end to MS once and for all. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Symptoms range from blurred vision, loss of balance, poor coordination, slurred speech, tremors, numbness, extreme fatigue, problems with memory and concentration, paralysis, blindness and more. MS is different for everyone, and that makes it all the more challenging to solve.
